HarvestPlus, in partnership with the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) and the Lake Chad Research Institute, funded by UK aid, introduced two new varieties of iron pearl millet in northern Nigeria. This insightful documentary highlights the efforts of harvest plus to enhance the resilience of smallholder farming-households  and consumers by employing climate-smart crop production technologies and addressing challenges posed by climate volatility and elevated CO2 levels.
