We anchored the 1-day launch event held for the dissemination and distribution of nutrition policy, strategy and guidelines in September at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
The nutrition policy document was distributed to the Nutrition Focal Person of each state so that they can adopt the policy in their respective states; there was also a dialogue on “Wasting and Next Steps on Global Action Plan on Child Wasting in Nigeria”.
The event was organised by the Federal Ministry of Health in partnership with usaid – Advancing Nutrition with other stakeholders such as world bank Group, unicef, datadent, gain.alliance etc in attendance.
