In partnership with Corteva Agriscience and seed vendors, we  implemented  a market demand project aimed at promoting the adoption of Corteva’s hybrid maize seeds across eight states in Nigeria. Collaborating closely with seed vendors, we branded their stores and provided practical training to farmers on best agronomic practices during the maize planting season, utilizing demonstration plots to showcase the benefits of the hybrid seeds. This initiative significantly raised awareness of Corteva maize seeds among stakeholders, including women and youth farmers. As a result, crop yields increased as smallholder farmers benefited from cultivating improved seed varieties and utilizing best agronomic practices.
