Meet Atanda Olalekan, a family man and a dedicated maize farmer from Iseyin, Oyo State, has been cultivating his crops since 2019. His journey took a significant turn when he participated in the SeedCo Field Day event in Iseyin. During this event, Atanda diligently followed the training sessions, learning the best practices for planting improved maize seeds. He attended every SeedCo farm day event, where demonstration plots showcased the benefits of using SeedCo’s enhanced seeds and recommended farming techniques. Inspired by the impressive results, Atanda decided to purchase SeedCo seeds and apply the learned practices to his own farm. 

Since he began using SeedCo seeds in 2021, Atanda has witnessed a remarkable increase in productivity, leading to substantial improvements in his livelihood and farming operations. Reflecting on his experience, Atanda shared, “Since I started planting SeedCo seeds in 2021, I’ve never looked back because I am very satisfied with the seeds.”
