Meet Elizabeth Iorolum, a mother and dedicated maize farmer from Sabon Gida, Kaduna State. Elizabeth participated in the SeedCo Demonstration Plots planting process in Kaduna, where she had the opportunity to plant SeedCo Nigeria’s improved variety of maize seeds on her farm.

Despite her efforts in the past, Elizabeth struggled to support her family as her maize yields were often inconsistent. However, upon participating in the program, Elizabeth implemented the modern farming techniques taught by experts from SeedCo.

Elizabeth experienced remarkable results as her maize yields increased significantly in the first season. She said, “These seeds have almost doubled my yield. I don’t regret using them at all.”
